Pet Waste Removal Services in North Carolina

At POOP AWAY, we provide reliable pet waste removal services throughout North Carolina so you can enjoy your pets without the hassle of cleaning up after them. We take care of the dirty work—so you don’t have to.

How Often Do We Provide Service?

Most of our customers choose once-a-week service, but we offer flexible scheduling to meet your needs.

If you’re interested in service more or less frequently, please contact POOP AWAY at

📞 (919) 550-2165 for more information.

Do We Work Through the winter?

Yes! Dogs make messes year-round, and POOP AWAY continues service throughout the winter months.

What Happens If It Rains or Snows?

If there is heavy rain or snowfall on a scheduled service day, pickup may be postponed for safety reasons. When possible, we will clean the yard later that same week.

No service credit will be issued in these cases, as our technicians often have extra waste to remove during the next visit.

What About Holidays?

POOP AWAY does not provide service on the following holidays:

New Year’s Day

Thanksgiving Day

Christmas Day

If a holiday falls on your regular service day, we will typically service your yard the day before. Your schedule should return to normal within two weeks.

Is There an Extra Charge for First-Time Service?

In some cases, there may be an additional charge for the initial cleanup if there is a large accumulation of dog waste due to extended time between cleanings.

What Are the Benefits of Dog Waste Removal?

Enjoy owning a dog without the chore of cleanup

Help protect the environment

Reduce the risk of harmful diseases and parasites

Maintain a clean, odor-free, and healthy yard

Create a pleasant environment for your family and neighbors

Your dog will love you for it!

Should I Unlock My Gate?

Yes. Our employees cannot climb or jump fences, so your gate must be unlocked on your scheduled service day.

Missed service calls due to a locked gate may result in a charge.

If you prefer:

You may provide us with a lock combination, or

We can lend you one of our locks at no cost for the duration of your service

Can You Work With My Dog in the Yard?

If your dog is friendly, we’re happy to work around them. We love dogs!

However, if your dog does not do well with strangers or prevents access to the yard, we ask that you restrain or confine your dog on service days.

This helps ensure the safety of both your dog and our employees.

What If I Need to Skip a Service Day?

You will not be charged if you notify our office in time for us to skip your yard.

If your dog will be gone for a couple of weeks or you need to pause service for another reason, we can place your service on hold at no charge.

⚠️ However, if we arrive and:

The gate is locked, or

The dog prevents us from cleaning the yard

A service charge may apply for that missed visit.
